What this website collects
These pages are static files. They set no cookies, run no analytics or tracking, and load nothing from third-party servers — the fonts and images are served from this domain. Your browser's request reaches our server, which records the usual log entries (IP address, time, requested file, browser identification) to operate and secure the site. Those logs are rotated daily and kept for about two weeks. The server is operated for us by IONOS SE (Germany) as a processor.
The contact forms
When you send one of the forms on this site, we process what you entered: your name, e-mail address, phone number, city and country where you give them, what you tell us about your search, and — on the property pages — which property the enquiry is about. Together with it we store the time, the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser identification, because that is what tells a real enquiry from an automated one.
Purpose and legal basis: answering you and, where it leads to one, preparing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where the form has a consent box, ticking it is your consent to us storing the message (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time — write to mail@chalkidikirealestate.com and we delete it.
Where it goes: the message is stored on the server of this website, in a directory that is not reachable from the web, and is then sent by e-mail to mail@chalkidikirealestate.com. The e-mail is handed over for delivery to STRATO GmbH, Berlin, who host our mailbox — they process it as our processor. Nothing is passed to anyone else, and nothing is used to advertise to you.
How long: twelve months, after which the stored enquiries are deleted automatically. Messages our spam filter rejects are kept for the same period together with the reason, so that a message wrongly held back can still be found — they are not simply discarded. The server is backed up once a day and those backups are kept for thirty days, so a deleted enquiry can remain in a backup copy for up to thirty days longer before it too is gone.
WhatsApp, e-mail and phone
If you write to us on WhatsApp, your message is processed by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. under its own terms; the same is true of your telephone provider when you call. What you send us by e-mail reaches the mailbox named above.
Your rights
You may request access to the data we hold about you, its correction or erasure, a restriction of its processing, and a copy in a portable form. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may withdraw a consent you gave. Write to mail@chalkidikirealestate.com — no particular form is needed.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent one for us is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα, www.dpa.gr), since Athena Consulting I.K.E. is established in Greece.
